सरला बिरला पब्लिक स्कूल ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर पांच पदक जीतकर परचम लहराया
सरला बिरला पब्लिक स्कूल ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच ताइक्वांडो प्रतियोगिता में पांच पदक जीतकर यह सिद्ध किया कि उत्कृष्टता अनुशासन, दृढ़ संकल्प और निरंतर परिश्रम से प्राप्त होती है। सरला बिरला पब्लिक स्कूल, रांची के विद्यार्थियों ने पहला पी टी एफ इंडिया ओपन इंटरनेशनल ताइक्वांडो चैंपियनशिप – 2026 में प्रेरणादायक प्रदर्शन किया। यह प्रतिष्ठित प्रतियोगिता 30 मई से 2 जून 2026 तक श्रीनगर, जम्मू एवं कश्मीर में आयोजित की गई थी। इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में भारत सहित छह अन्य देशों के 400 से अधिक खिलाड़ी, प्रशिक्षक और अधिकारी शामिल हुए, जिसने युवा मार्शल आर्ट खिलाड़ियों को अपनी प्रतिभा और कौशल प्रदर्शित करने का उत्कृष्ट अवसर प्रदान किया। चुनौतीपूर्ण प्रतिस्पर्धा के बीच एसबीपीएस के ताइक्वांडो खिलाड़ियों ने आत्मविश्वास, संयम और अदम्य साहस का परिचय देते हुए शानदार प्रदर्शन किया तथा विद्यालय और देश का गौरव बढ़ाया।
विद्यालय ने कुल पांच पदक जीतकर उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि हासिल की, जिनमें तीन रजत (सिल्वर) और दो कांस्य (ब्रॉन्ज) पदक शामिल हैं। आद्या रिया (कक्षा- नौवीं), सिया शुक्ला (कक्षा-ग्यारहवीं) और ऋद्धिमा सिंह (कक्षा-ग्यारहवीं) ने रजत पदक प्राप्त किए, जबकि नंदिनी मौर्य (कक्षा-नौवीं) और प्रतिज्ञा सिंह (कक्षा-नौवीं) ने कांस्य पदक जीतकर विद्यालय का नाम रोशन किया। उनकी यह उपलब्धि कठोर प्रशिक्षण, अटूट एकाग्रता और खेलों में उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करने की प्रतिबद्धता का प्रमाण है।
विद्यालय की प्राचार्या सुश्री मनीषा शर्मा ने सभी विजेता छात्राओं को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि विद्यार्थियों की यह सफलता राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (छम्च्) 2020 की उस परिकल्पना को साकार करती है, जो शिक्षा के साथ-साथ खेलों और जीवन-कौशल के समन्वय द्वारा समग्र विकास पर बल देती है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रतिस्पधÊ खेलों में भागीदारी विद्यार्थियों में धैर्य, आत्म-अनुशासन, टीम भावना, नेतृत्व क्षमता और भावनात्मक दृढ़ता का विकास करती है, जिससे वे आत्मविश्वासी और जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनते हैं।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि खेल केवल शारीरिक क्षमता बढ़ाने का माध्यम नहीं हैं, बल्कि चरित्र निर्माण और अनुभवात्मक अधिगम का सशक्त साधन भी हैं। एसबीपीएस के युवा खिलाड़ियों ने खेल भावना, समर्पण और संघर्षशीलता का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है, जो अन्य विद्यार्थियों को भी जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रेरित करेगा।
Taekwondo Triumph: SBPS Shines on the International Stage with Five-Medal Haul
Proving that excellence is forged through discipline, determination and relentless perseverance, the students of Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi delivered an inspiring performance at the 1st PTF India Open International Taekwondo Championships 2026, held at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, from 30 May to 2 June 2026. The prestigious championship witnessed the participation of over 400 athletes, coaches and officials from India and six other countries, providing a highly competitive international platform for young martial artists to test their mettle. Rising to the challenge with confidence and composure, the SBPS taekwondo contingent showcased remarkable grit, resilience and sporting excellence, bringing pride to the institution and the nation alike.
The school secured an impressive five medals, comprising three Silver and two Bronze medals. The Silver medal winners were Aadhya Liya (Class-IX), Siya Shukla (Class-XI) and Riddhima Singh (Class-XI), while Nandini Mourya (Class-IX) and Pratigya Singh (Class-IX) clinched Bronze medals. Their achievement stands as a testament to rigorous training, unwavering focus and the pursuit of excellence in sports.
Principal Ms. Manisha Sharma congratulated the achievers and stated that the success of the students reflected the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which advocates holistic development by integrating academics, sports and life skills. She remarked that participation in competitive sports nurtures resilience, self-discipline, teamwork, leadership and emotional strength, enabling students to grow into confident and responsible individuals. Emphasising that sports serve as a powerful medium for character-building and experiential learning, she added that the young athletes had exemplified the true spirit of sportsmanship and perseverance, inspiring others to pursue excellence both on and off the field.
