सरला बिरला पब्लिक स्कूल में गांधी जयंती एवं लाल बहादुर शास्त्री जयंती का आयोजन: गांधी एवं शास्त्री के आदर्शों का स्मरण


सरला बिरला पब्लिक स्कूल, रांची में गांधी जयंती एवं लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की जयंती के अवसर पर विशेष प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर राष्ट्र के दो महान राष्ट्रनिर्माताओं के शाश्वत मूल्यों एवं आदर्शों को विद्यार्थियों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया गया तथा उन्हें अपने जीवन में अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ ‘रघुपति राघव राजा राम’ की भावपूर्ण प्रस्तुति से हुआ, जिसने पूरे वातावरण को आध्यात्मिक एवं चिंतनशील बना दिया। विद्यार्थियों ने सत्य और अहिंसा के पुजारी महात्मा गांधी तथा सादगी, विनम्रता, ईमानदारी एवं राष्ट्र के प्रति अटूट समर्पण के प्रतीक लाल बहादुर शास्त्री को श्रद्धापूर्वक नमन किया। लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के जीवन एवं मूल्यों पर आधारित भाषण एवं भूमिका-अभिनय के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों ने उनके प्रेरणादायी जीवन, सादगी और राष्ट्रसेवा के प्रति समर्पण को जीवंत रूप में प्रस्तुत किया। राष्ट्रभक्ति की भावना से ओतप्रोत वातावरण में विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक “जय जवान, जय किसान!” का उद्घोष किया।

महात्मा गांधी और लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के जीवन, संघर्ष एवं आदर्शों पर आधारित एक विशेष वीडियो विद्यार्थियों को दिखाया गया, जिसके माध्यम से उन्हें दोनों महान नेताओं के उल्लेखनीय योगदान को पुनः स्मरण करने तथा उनके जीवन में निहित आदर्शों और मूल्यों पर चिंतन करने का अवसर मिला। दोनों महान नेताओं के जीवन एवं मूल्यों पर आधारित प्रश्नोत्तरी के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को उनके योगदान एवं आदर्शों को जानने का अवसर मिला। वहीं, गांधीजी के जीवन पर आधारित प्रभावशाली अभिनय ने विद्यार्थियों को सत्य, साहस और अहिंसा के उनके संदेश से और अधिक निकटता से जोड़ा। कार्यक्रम के एक विशेष खंड में भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की अनसुनी एवं वीरांगना महिला स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के अमूल्य योगदान को स्मरण किया गया। गांधीजी के तीन बंदरों के माध्यम से बुरा न देखो, बुरा न सुनो और बुरा न बोलो का शाश्वत संदेश प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसने विद्यार्थियों को अपने दैनिक व्यवहार एवं आचरण पर आत्मचिंतन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। चित्रकला एवं रंग भरो प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों ने इन मूल्यों को रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति प्रदान की। वहीं, स्वच्छता शपथ ने विद्यार्थियों को स्वच्छता को अपने जीवन का अभिन्न हिस्सा बनाने तथा अपने आसपास के वातावरण के प्रति जिम्मेदारी निभाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

प्राचार्या, श्रीमती मनीषा शर्मा ने कहा, “महात्मा गांधी और लाल बहादुर शास्त्री का जीवन हमें यह स्मरण कराता है कि सत्य, सादगी, साहस, ईमानदारी और राष्ट्रसेवा जैसे मूल्य समय की सीमाओं से परे हैं। जब बच्चे इन मूल्यों को अपने दैनिक जीवन में आत्मसात करते हैं, तो वे एक शांतिपूर्ण, संवेदनशील और सामंजस्यपूर्ण समाज के निर्माण में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाले जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनते हैं।”

यह आयोजन दो महान राष्ट्रनिर्माताओं के आदर्शों और भारत के भविष्य को आकार देने वाली युवा पीढ़ी के बीच एक सशक्त सेतु बना। कार्यक्रम ने विद्यार्थियों को यह संदेश दिया कि गांधीजी और शास्त्रीजी के आदर्श केवल इतिहास का हिस्सा नहीं, बल्कि जिम्मेदार नागरिकता के लिए आज भी एक जीवंत प्रेरणा हैं।

Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti Observed at SBPS : Celebrating the Ideals of Gandhi & Shastri

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi, observed Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri through a special assembly that brought the timeless values of two great nation-builders closer to the young minds of today.

The soulful rendition of ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ set a reflective tone for the programme. Students paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the apostle of truth and non-violence, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, remembered for his simplicity, humility, integrity and unwavering commitment to the nation.

A speech and role play on the life and values of Lal Bahadur Shastri brought his inspiring journey, simplicity and dedication to the nation alive before the audience. The spirit of patriotism resonated through the assembly as students enthusiastically raised the iconic slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan!”

A special video showcasing the life, journey and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri was presented to the students, helping them revisit the remarkable contributions of the two leaders and reflect upon the values they embodied. A quiz on the lives and values of both national leaders encouraged students to explore their contributions, while a thoughtful role play portraying Gandhiji brought his messages of truth, courage and non-violence closer to the young audience.

A special segment on unsung women freedom fighters celebrated the invaluable contributions of women to India’s freedom struggle. Gandhiji’s Three Wise Monkeys conveyed the enduring message of seeing no evil, hearing no evil and speaking no evil, encouraging students to reflect on their everyday choices and conduct. The Drawing and Colouring Competition provided a creative platform for students to express these values, while the Swachhata Pledge inspired them to uphold cleanliness and take responsibility for their surroundings.

Principal Ms. Manisha Sharma remarked, “The lives of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri remind us that truth, simplicity, courage, integrity and service to the nation are values that transcend time. When children practise these values in their everyday lives, they become responsible citizens capable of building a more peaceful, compassionate and harmonious society.”

The assembly beautifully connected the ideals of two remarkable nation-builders with the young minds who will shape India’s future, making their lives and values a living lesson in responsible citizenship.
